My Approach to Therapy
My approach to therapy is rooted in shared experiences, healing, and grace. We all carry shame—sometimes from past relationships, sometimes from experiences long ago—and my office is a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can be truly seen, heard, and understood. As a Christian, I provide care without judgment, trusting that healing comes through compassion, connection, and God’s grace.
I draw on John Bowlby’s Attachment Theory and Sue Johnson’s Emotionally Focused Therapy, which guide my understanding of how we are created to connect and heal. In sessions, I attune to every tear, every expression of frustration, and every physical sign of tension, walking alongside you through pain toward restoration.
Life challenges us all, even those of us with decades of experience in mental health. But through these challenges, there is hope—trust in yourself, safety in relationships, and the grace to embrace joy again. My office is a calm, inviting space, filled with fresh flowers and artwork by my mother, ready to welcome you as you begin your healing journey.
A Little About Me
I am a proud mom of two amazing daughters and three beloved doodles, and I am engaged to my best friend. Together, we have navigated life’s challenges and found joy, laughter, and love in everyday moments.
Whether you are seeking support for yourself, your relationship, or guidance as a fellow therapist, my hope is to walk alongside you with care, understanding, and compassion. Healing is possible, and together we can take small, meaningful steps toward greater balance, connection, and hope.
