Codependency and Substance Use Disorder- A Relational Approach

This is a group for clinicians who would like to learn more about codependency in a more intimate way.  During this meeting, there will be an interview that is played and discussed from a couple who lead groups for Parents of Addicted Loved Ones (PALS).  We will listen and learn from these leaders of this area and discuss how to apply the knowledge we get fron the interview into the clincial setting.  We will also base some of our discussions off of the book Codependent No More by Melody Beattie.

This is a 2 hour group from 11am-1pm

Suicide- How do I feel about this?

This is a group for clinicians who would like to how to feel more comfortable in the clincial setting when a client is suicidal.  As clinicians when a client mentions suicide, we can become nervous and on edge.  This group is to discuss suicide and how to calm ourselves down when a client is suicidal.

This is a 2 hour group from 10am-12 pm
